Accenting your home is what solar powered lights do best! Solar accent lights are not powerful enough to become the main source of lighting at this stage in their development. They do provide additional illumination and safety for your garden, and this is the perfect job for these freestanding lighting devices.

Here is where you can get really creative with your patios, trees, shrubs or xeriscape gardens. Solar accent lights can bring that certain style and mood to your nocturnal landscape and add character during the day time.

This is what came in this set. Some parts are plastic, some aluminum and some are stainless steel. So we cannot call it a completely stainless steel light as it was presented to us. But the light is still good quality in comparison to some other solar accent lights on the market.

Solar accent lights can be found in many styles and with many characteristics for your particular house style. For these guys you will need to choose the sunniest location to get the most benefit from the sun, because the solar cell is built into the individual fixtures. Charges will typically last up to 8 hours. The fixtures will also turn on and off automatically.

As with any solar lights, selection is very important with solar powered spot lights. The main purpose of any spot light… it has to be bright. Most solar powered spot lights are lacking in this quality. So when you choose your spot light, look for more LEDs and for reflective qualities of the light’s cover.

Spot lights are usually sold in sets of 2, 3, 4 or more. Some are connected by a wire and have only one solar cell collecting power. This gives it the flexibility to be placed your solar spot light in a shady area with the collector in a sunny spot, but they all have to be placed near each other depending on the length of the wire between each light.
